Therapy Sessions

The first session is an Initial Consultation, which is free of charge. During this, I will explore the reasons for coming to therapy and outline the structure and function of the Brain. I will also explain about my approach, which uses hypnosis, and why that is helpful. This is essential in helping to understand how and why problems occur and how solutions to these problems can be developed together. This session lasts for around 45 minutes.

Subsequent therapy sessions are approximately 60 minutes. Each session consists of solution-focused work to develop specific goals followed by a period of hypnosis. The emphasis is on creating positive solutions together and using hypnosis to develop a deep state of relaxation to support the process of achieving new goals.

The total number of therapy sessions required varies from person to person.

Sessions can be face-to-face or online.

What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis, or trance, is a natural state we go into daily. It is a state of deep relaxation and really helps to focus the mind on the solutions we will create together. Hypnotherapy is not the same as you might see in stage hypnosis and you cannot be made to do anything that you don’t want to do. It is safe, positive and empowering.
