About Me

I am a Child and Educational Psychologist with over 30 years’ experience of working with children and young people in variety of settings, including schools, the home and individually in clinic.

I use a range of techniques, including Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, in my clinical practice to help my clients achieve their goals. I also work in schools and in the home to support children, young people and their families.

I have a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and a Diploma in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy from the prestigious Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training school. I have also undertaken Levels 1 and 2 training in Narrative Therapy, Foundation 101 level in Transactional Analysis and Foundation Training in Drawing and Talking Therapy.

I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist at the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC registration PYL25404) and I am an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. I am registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapists. I have an enhanced DBS.

I continually update my expertise with Continuing Professional Development training and recent modules include Psychoneuroimmunology (CPHT), Working with Addiction (Human Givens) and Brief Psychotherapy (Human Givens).
